Wheeleo® is an innovative one-handed rollator that gives you stability and freedom to move safely in everyday life. Unlike traditional walkers and canes, Wheeleo® doesn’t need to be lifted – it glides smoothly over the floor and provides continuous support as you walk.
Developed by physiotherapists, Wheeleo® is a user-friendly solution for anyone seeking greater security and mobility – without compromising their freedom.

After a brain injury, Anne didn’t believe she would be able to walk safely again. But with intensive rehabilitation – and the help of Wheeleo® – she’s back on her feet.
Instead of a heavy rollator or an unstable walking stick, Anne received a Wheeleo® – the one-handed rollator that offers continuous support without limiting her mobility.
It helps her stay balanced and walk confidently – both indoors and outdoors.
“It has helped me a lot and is a big part of the reason I can now walk up to 1.5 kilometres.”

Wheeleo® is an innovative walking aid that combines stability and freedom of movement in a simple and intuitive solution.
At first glance, Wheeleo® might look like a “four-legged cane with wheels,” but it differs significantly in both function and use – it is a true one-handed rollator.
Unlike a traditional rollator, Wheeleo® provides continuous support while being operated with only one hand. This unique feature offers greater freedom and convenience for people who need support but still want one hand free.
Wheeleo® is an innovative medical device especially appreciated by people who find it difficult to handle traditional canes (with 1, 3, or 4 legs), walkers, or rollators. It offers the same security and stability as a rollator but is lighter, more maneuverable, and can be used with one hand.
Today, Wheeleo® is a real alternative to traditional walking aids.
Wheeleo® provides support and freedom so you can move safely in everyday life – using only one hand.
It is user-friendly and enhances mobility and confidence for people with walking difficulties – regardless of age.
Especially suitable for people with hemiplegia and seniors.
Wheeleo® automatically positions itself by your side and follows your movements without lifting or effort.
It is compact, easy to steer in small spaces, and can be used anywhere at home – unlike a classic rollator.
A clinical study shows that switching from a four-point cane to Wheeleo® can reduce the risk of falls and increase walking speed by up to 50%.
Wheeleo® provides constant support, allowing users a more natural and stable gait with increased confidence.
Here are six typical users Wheeleo® is designed to support:

Had a stroke and has reduced strength on his left side. Wheeleo® helps him walk independently at home and when shopping.

Lives with multiple sclerosis and uses Wheeleo® to feel secure on short trips when balance can be unstable.

Rehabilitating after a traffic accident. Needs a light and stable support in daily life without relying on large rollators.

Active in daily life but needs a bit of extra support on walks and when out shopping.

Has cerebral palsy and uses Wheeleo® to maintain her mobility and freedom during the school day.

Has a congenital muscular disease and uses Wheeleo® for stability when moving around at home and at work.
Experience freedom, stability and safety in your everyday life with Wheeleo®.
No – and that’s actually a benefit!
One of Wheeleo®’s key features is that it doesn’t need brakes. The wheels ensure that Wheeleo® stays right where the user needs it. If the user loses balance, Wheeleo® automatically moves into a position where balance can be restored — without needing to lift it. If there were brakes, the wheels would lock and the device could tip, increasing fall risk.
It’s a myth that Wheeleo® will roll away when you lean on it. Think of a wheeled office chair – when you sit down and apply weight, it stays in place. The same applies to Wheeleo®.
100% of users confirm that brakes are unnecessary and that Wheeleo® offers all the stability they need to walk with confidence.
Wheeleo® is designed for indoor and outdoor use on flat surfaces, so surface quality is important.
It works well in parks, shopping centres, car parks and on pavements — anywhere the wheels can move freely. It can handle small obstacles, but for larger ones or uneven ground, simply lift it and continue.
Both!
Wheeleo® can be used as a daily mobility aid and as part of physical rehabilitation. In everyday life, it helps users move around independently — even in narrow spaces like hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms.
In rehabilitation, Wheeleo® supports a more natural walking pattern from an early stage, helping accelerate recovery.
It’s less about whether it’s indoors or outdoors — and more about the surface. The wheels must be able to rotate freely for optimal support.
We do not recommend using Wheeleo® on grass, gravel, or thick carpet. In those cases, it should be lifted to proceed.
For curbs or loose tiles, just lift Wheeleo® and continue rolling once the obstacle is cleared.
If you’re using Wheeleo® like a crutch to offload one leg (e.g. due to pain or weakness), keep the handle close to your body.
If you’re using it primarily for balance, adjust the handle higher and allow more distance. Try different settings and consult a healthcare professional to find your best fit.
Wheeleo® was invented in Belgium by physiotherapist Geoffroy Dellicour, who has over 20 years of experience at William Lennox Neurological Hospital.
It is manufactured in Belgium and assembled at Entre Group — a social enterprise supporting people with special needs, based in Heppignies.
A four-wheeled rollator provides continuous support but requires two hands and more space. This makes daily tasks — like opening doors — difficult, and many users stop using rollators indoors for this reason.
Wheeleo® offers the support of a rollator in a compact format. It allows safe movement even in tight spaces like hallways, kitchens, or bathrooms — and it moves with you, making it easier to use.
Traditional canes provide no support when they’re in the air — which is half the time you’re walking, and even more when turning.
Wheeleo® provides continuous support. You can lean on it while it follows your movements naturally.
It also stands on its own, even when being pushed — making it a reliable companion that’s always ready.
Absolutely.
Sideways movement requires a deliberate action. If you do the same with a cane, it may tip — but Wheeleo® moves with you and stays stable.
It naturally positions itself to help you maintain balance.
No time at all!
Wheeleo® is extremely intuitive. From the very first steps, users naturally place it where it offers the most support.
Unlike traditional canes or rollators, Wheeleo® doesn’t require much coordination or conscious effort — especially in confined spaces. This lets users focus on their activities and surroundings.
